Your Student Officers and Trustees for next year have now been elected!
You can find the winning candidates and their manifestos below.
Congratulations to all candidates for their passion and commitment to their campaigns.
Thanks also to all 3101 of you who voted – that's 16.58%* of eligible voters! You can view a full break down on duo.
We also ran a referendum on our Articles of Association. 2221 people voted in the referendum with 990 voting 'yes'. Unfortunately, this wasn't enough 'yes' votes for the referendum to pass. There has been no call from the Board of Trustees, Assembly or a student petition to hold a further referendum on this at this time.

*Turnout for the Durham SU elections for 2019/20 was a total of 3101 or 16.58%. We wanted to bring to your attention that this is different to the percentage you can see in the University’s Devote system, due to inaccuracies in the University’s data (additional student types, students who haven’t been expired etc.) but you can find the correct official number on the University’s website here.
