A bit about me...

Tell students about yourself

I am a final year St Mary’s student studying Combined Honours in Social Sciences (politics and sociology) and I am from Dorset! I have spent lots of time engaged in social justice societies whilst at Durham and am currently co-head facilitator for EcoDU and publicity officer for Just Love Durham. I also love Durham student theatre and have been in a range of productions over my time here.

If elected, what sort of Officer can students expect you be?

As SU President, I would be a strong and empathetic leader for all. My experience leading EcoDU has equipped me with the skills and knowledge required to represent students boldly and with confidence. I believe in engaging with students sensitively and pragmatically to best achieve meaningful change and have a proven track record of delivery through my work on the Living Wage Campaign, Fossil Free Careers, and the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty. As a student activist, I know how critical it is that we have an SU president who engages with students and assertively champions student voices.
