Description

The Theology Society sits at the heart of Durham’s academic community, representing one of the oldest traditions of the university. The theology society hopes to foster this academic body into an active social community for the entire university. We promote the discussion and debate of religion for all communities, regardless of faith or background. Whether it be the sociological, psychological, philosophical, historical, literary or scientific questions of religion, the society will inspire discussion in both the pub and lecture hall.

We welcome and encourage all Durham students to attend our regular socials and academic events regardless of membership. However, event priority, stash, discounts, exec positions and more extravagant events will only be available to members. All membership fees are reinvested in the society to create an exciting calendar of activities for all kinds of students.

As an exec, we pride ourselves on our ambition and hope to provide Durham with a flourishing society for all students to enjoy.
