Purple Radio is Durham University's multi-award winning student radio station. Purple gives its members the opportunity and support to gain invaluable broadcasting experience and offers listeners a hugely diverse range of entertainment: from popular music to niche, topical news and sports commentary, to film reviews and travel shows! There are so many ways to get involved, whether you want to get behind the mic as a presenter or broadcaster, design graphics, investigate news stories or help set up live performances, Purple has something to offer everyone.
Radio experience looks great on the CV but more importantly is fantastic fun. You'd get to join a huge team of creative and passionate people who will not let a pandemic stop us from playing the best tunes!
