Join us for an exciting range of events throughout the year, trips to Newcastle temple, Kirtans, music and dancing, discussions and debates, games and activities, aarti, pooja, and whatnot!
The Hindu Society is here to provide ways for students to explore Sanatan Dharm and connect with Dharmic beliefs, and most importantly to provide a wonderful community. Dharma gives us meaning, duty, and a sense of responsibility in this world. We aim to impart the values of Hinduism and teach in a fun way what our Dharma is all about in all aspects of university life to support our mission to: protect, preserve, practice, and promote Hindu dharma!
For anyone who wishes to participate in intellectual and scholarly discussions on culture, faith, and political topics, or wants to take part in weekly Aartis or simply wants to learn about the immense diversity embedded in the label Hindu - we have a space for everyone.
Be a part of our community and do have a look at our instagram page to learn about our festivals, traditions and the sweet glories of Bhagwan!
