Durham Commercial Affairs Society (DCAS) aims to help its members improve their commercial awareness through holding regular discussions on recent commercial affairs. In addition, we hold workshops on tackling commercial awareness questions in job applications and interviews, as well as on how to improve commercial awareness. Furthermore, DCAS regularly invite guest speakers, from various fields, to give talks to our members. Indeed, the DCAS Executive Committee consists of three separate positions (Solicitor Officer, Bar Officer and Financial Services Officer) in order to regularly secure a variety of interesting guest speakers. Moreover, our Social Secretary is on hand to ensure that all members of DCAS can get to know one another in a more relaxed setting. So, if you are interested in businesses and how they work, or are thinking about pursuing a career in law, business and/or financial services, come along to DCAS!
