Chinese Tea Art

  • Ctas3

Description

Tea leaves were introduced to China 6000 years ago for medicinal use and tea soon became a popular daily drink. Tea drinking as a social activity then became a melting pot for different cultures in China. Our society will provide you with the chance to experience tea culture and other Chinese traditions, such as:

•Gain knowledge of Chinese tea ceremony e.g. introduction to tea utensils, appreciation of traditional tea pots and delicate handicrafts, techniques to make and taste tea in a traditional way.

•Participate in various activities relating to Chinese culture e.g. calligraphy appreciation, Chinese painting salon, chi-pao experience.

•Discuss Chinese culture, eastern philosophy, and aesthetics while tasting tea.

• Meet new like-minded friends in our society. We hope you can find inner peace through the cultural immersion of sipping traditionally made tea.
