Durham Biology Society, also known as Durham BioSoc, is a welcoming and inclusive society, passionate about anything that is biological! The majority of our members are Biology students, however, membership is open to any Durham University student regardless of the course taken. As a society we aim to connect students across all year groups with a view to creating a strong network which will be beneficial throughout your university experience.
By becoming a member of our society, you will gain access to our private Facebook group which is the gateway to information in respect of:
- Career opportunities for all Biology students during/after university as well as academic talks and interesting Biology news.
- Important notices from the Biology department relating to the course and associated opportunities.
- All society socials which will take place during the year, including the main event, the Biology Ball, an event not to be missed as it always guarantees an extraordinarily good time!
