Description
Diversity is an essential feature of our new Asian society. With an aim to foster intercultural communication, we recruit members from all Asian countries and districts, including but not limited to Hong Kong, mainland China, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Pakistan, India, Singapore, and Korea.
There are several aims we wish to achieve by establishing this society:
1. Creating a platform for all Asians in Durham to get a chance to know each other.
2. Strengthening the bonding between Asians by hosting social events
3. Enhancing intercultural communication (for example celebrating traditional festivals of different countries)
4. Establishing close ties and connections with the Asian community by collaborating with a greater variety of societies in different universities across the UK.
