Amnesty International is the largest Human Rights NGO, with more than six million members across the globe. Amnesty's student groups contribute to the global human rights movement in several ways; through campaigning, raising awareness, and raising funds. We hold weekly meetings where we hear about, discuss and take action on individual cases of human rights abuse, and hold several protest or petitioning events during the year, on all aspect of Amnesty's work. Whether you're interested in the death penalty, torture, freedom of speech, women's rights, corporate accountability, something else entirely, or just want to find out more, please get in touch!
The aim is to learn about, discuss and take action on individual cases of human rights abuses, and hold several protest/ petitioning events throughout the year related to the campaigns of Amnesty International.
