Respect Means
In response to increasing rates of sexual violence at Durham University, Durham SU worked closely with the University to develop a campaign involving student leaders. The campaign made clear that sexual violence will not be tolerated in our community by:
- Raising awareness of the reporting and support systems available to students who experience sexual violence or misconduct.
- Encouraging students to consider the concept of consent through the introduction of an online consent course which can be accessed via duo.
- Encouraging more students to become active bystanders by attending the Union's Active Bystander training.
