This policy focuses on how we can address ongoing issues within our institution that are being faced by our students. It seeks to create direct representation on WEDComm in ensuring there is a Trans representative.

  1. Easter 2017 Policy passed.
  2. Michaelmas 2017 Trans Association was ratified at Assembly.
  3. Easter 2018 The University's policies on Gender Identity and Trans and Intersex Inclusion are created in collaboration with the SU.
  4. Michaelmas 2018 Pronoun badges introduced by Welfare and Liberation Officer.
  5. Epiphany 2019 Mental Health & Wellbeing Week panel discussion included panellist representing the Trans community. Pronouns information page added to SU website.
    Welfare and Liberation Officer working with University Signposting T&F Group to contribute to targeted signposting for Trans students.
