Candidate Profile

Tell students about yourself

Hi, I’m Angelina, a second-year Business and Management student. I run my own dance society and am passionate about entrepreneurship and building real-world experience. For over two years, I’ve worked on projects as a project and product manager, developing different projects, while learning from industry-leading mentors. I’m driven by turning ideas into outcomes and helping students grow beyond the classroom.

If elected, what sort of Officer can students expect you be?

Students can expect me to be proactive, approachable, and impact driven. I believe the university is a powerful ecosystem for building connections that lead to careers, startups, and opportunities. Many students are ambitious but lack access to the right people and platforms. I will focus on strengthening collaboration between students, societies, alumni, and industry, while actively involving students in decision-making. My experience in project management, leadership, and communication will allow me to turn ideas into concrete initiatives that deliver real value.

Why is this role important to you?

This role matters to me because I deeply understand the challenges students face when searching for internships, placements, and career direction. From my own experience, success rarely comes alone — it comes from strong communities and meaningful collaboration. I believe students should not struggle in isolation, but instead be part of an environment where support, ambition, and opportunity are shared. As Faculty President, I want to help create a culture where students connect, build projects together, and achieve tangible outcomes — whether that’s securing a role, launching a startup, or gaining confidence in their future.

What is your pitch to students?

Your network is your future. When students graduate, the connections they’ve built become one of their most valuable assets. University is the easiest environment to create these links. I want to develop networking events that help students turn ambition into real opportunities, careers, and startups.
