Update from George: where can you vote?

Thursday 23-05-2019 - 11:44
George

Today you can vote to elect members of the European Parliament (MEPs) to represent the UK. MEPs are elected to represent 12 UK regions from ‘party lists’. This means that you vote once for a party, and then the number of candidates elected from that party will be proportionate to the share of the vote that that party receives. Voters in the North East will be electing three MEPs to represent the region. Use the tool below to find out your polling station.

Polling stations are open from 07:00 to 22:00 today (Thursday 23 May).

You don't need your poll card to vote.

You must vote at your assigned polling station.

If you are registered to vote, but you don't have your poll card, you can go to the polling station and give them your name and address.

You don't need any other form of ID.
