There have been rapid advancements and technological developments in medical care that have transformed healthcare delivery and access to health services. These developments raise complex legal and ethical challenges concerning the regulation of medical practice and healthcare systems. The Medical Law and Ethics Society is dedicated to the academic study of the relationship between law, medicine, and ethics. The Society provides a forum for critical analysis of the issues arising in healthcare systems.
