Description

The Durham French Society welcomes all Durham Francophiles, whether you’re from a French-speaking country, study the language or just have a passion for French culture! We are open to students from all subjects, whatever level of French you may have!

• Join us to enjoy regular cultural events including wine & cheese dinners, French music parties and bar/flat crawls, raclette/fondue nights, French movie sessions, sports events, and many more fun socials… We also enjoy liaising with other language societies such as for the Romance Night on Valentine's Day with the Italian Society - definitely one of the highlights of the year!

• Join us to start learning, practise, or teach French - at your pace - as part of our very popular mentorship programme!

• Join us to hear about the life of a student in France through student articles and talks by top French universities, and get access to regular French-related job offers.

Follow us on Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/durham.french.society/) to keep updated with upcoming opportunities.

For more information, contact french.society@durham.ac.uk, or come visit us at the Freshers’ Fair in September!
