Description

ELSA Durham is part of the world’s largest independent law students’ association with over 40 years of history. It connects and bridges law students with the professional world, while being the voice of almost 70,000 members in 44 countries. ELSA Durham was established in 2019 to enable Durham University students to access opportunities offered by the wider ELSA network and aid entry into the legal sector. We serve as a platform for international collaboration, legal education, and career development. We are a diverse and internationally-minded community that welcomes all students regardless of their background or level of study. Our society offers access not only to opportunities in European law but to a range of legal sectors. Whether you aspire to become an actual delegate at the United Nations through ELSA Delegations, compete in prestigious moots like the Helga Pedersen Moot, study in law schools across Europe through ELSA Summer and Winter Law Schools, or gain legal work experience abroad through ELSA Traineeships—ELSA Durham is your gateway. Join us for unlimited opportunities all across Europe.
