The Durham University Economics Society is a young and dynamic society designed to bring students interested in economics together on academic and social occasions, and provides a forum for academic discussion.
The Society offers an opportunity for students from different years to come together, offering plenty of chances for older students to pass on advice. While the Society is primarily aimed at those studying an economics-related degree, anyone with an interest in economics is welcome to join.
Having a wide base of friends and colleagues on your course is hugely important in helping broaden your understanding of the subject and is extremely useful during the exam period.
The Economics Journal provides high quality analysis of current affairs, covering economics, business, finance and world affairs regularly, and is completely student run.
