Description

Founded on the 24th January 1934, Durham University Conservative and Unionist Association is the university's oldest, largest and best political society. We aim to create an open environment for the discussion of conservatism and wider politics. We believe that debate is central to our goal of promoting conservative political engagement and aim to maximise this in all of our activities, while not compromising the fun.

From high-profile speaker addresses to entertaining debates (whether over port, a pint, or even at a BBQ) to laid-back socials in a warm and friendly community, DUCUA has something for everyone. In the past we've hosted speakers such as Jacob Rees-Mogg, Ian Stewart (Patron of LGBT Tories), and Dehenna Davison – join us today to shape the society's future!
