Description

We are a student group who are interested in and enjoy conservation projects in the local area and further afield. We run weekly tasks that range from pulling Himalayan Balsam to helping in Alnwick Gardens. We strive to bring the students and local community together under the umbrella of helping protect local flora and fauna as well as looking to more global issues of environmental protection.

We aim to protect and preserve the environment and help to regenerate areas that need some tender loving care. This is to help provide a better place for people to socialise, live and work in as well as protecting a number of species that are native. We aim to bring the student community together by providing a space where people with common beliefs and interests can meet, be it from different year groups and colleges.
