Description

Durham University Bridge Club provides a place for students to play and enjoy bridge. Whether you're a beginner, expert or haven't a clue what the game even is, come along! In particular, we offer teaching from the start of Michaelmas term, aimed at both beginners and improving players.

The club meets regularly on Monday evenings for a lighthearted evening of duplicate. Currently this takes place online at 6:30 pm in the room ER152. We are also liaising with other university bridge clubs around the country to create more opportunities for diverse and competitive play.

The aims of the society are as follows:
i.    To play bridge
ii.    To teach bridge to members who want to learn and help members improve
iii.    To take part in competitions, especially the Portland Bowl (the national universities competition).
