Who are we?
The Anglo-Japanese Society (AJS) aims to foster a greater understanding of the cultures of Japan and the UK whilst broadening the horizons of its members.
We organise various Japanese cultural and social events where you can make friends, learn about other cultures and improve your language skills. These include:
- Cultural Exchange Cafe
- Calligraphy
- Movie Screening
- Pub Socials (Nomikai)
- Winter Ball
- Boat Party
... and many more!
We also organise various career seminars and provide support for students interested in working in Japan.

Anglo-Japanese Societyは、日本の良さを1人でも多くの学生に知って欲しいという思いで、ダラム大学にて日本の文化を広める活動を行っている学生団体です。日本人正規学生や交換留学生、ローカルの学生の方々の、交流の場になっています。今年も、ボートパーティーや文化交流カフェ、映画上映会、パブナイトなど、様々なソーシャルイベントを企画しています。
また、日英バイリンガル生の皆様に、日系企業への就活に関する積極的なサポート、情報発信、セミナー開催などを行っております。日本でのキャリアに少しでも興味がある方は、お気軽にご連絡ださい。
