With nominations open for next year’s Annual Awards, we spoke to Grace Harwood from CATSS (Children Achieving Through Student Support) about winning one of last year’s awards.

Name: Grace Harwood (Project Leader of CATSS - Children Achieving Through Student Support)

Award: Involvement in the Community

What was the best thing about last year’s Annual Awards Night? It was really great to be able to come together as a group and celebrate all the great things we had achieved over the year. It was also great to be able to support and recognise other students and the work they do on campus.

What are you most proud of achieving that the award recognises? I’m most proud of the impact on the community and dedication to the cause that the award celebrates.

Why would you encourage people to nominate someone for an award? It’s such a great way to recognise and celebrate the work that your friends do, as well as being a great night!

Know a society or individual who has done something award-worthy this term? You can nominate them for one of this year’s awards here. Nominations close 29 April.
