The Behavioural Insights Society provides Durham University students with the opportunity to learn more about behavioural science, the study of human decision making and its applications in the real world. We welcome all students from across the university, regardless of year or degree subject.
Our keys aims are:
- To promote Behavioural Science through organising events that help develop a deeper understanding of how behavioural insights can be applied
- To share new research, discuss theories and give members an insight into the world of Behavioural Science through our active Instagram page (@bisdurham) and our events with leading researchers and consultancy firms
Events Include:
- Panel discussions and webinars with a range of different experts
- Policy discussion and debate forums
- Competitions that involve designing interventions
- Catch ups and socials with other Society members
