Model United Nations

Model United Nations (MUN) is a student-led simulation of the United Nations and other global organisations – including regional blocs, defence alliances and international courts – just to name a few. Joining this society gives students across all degree levels and disciplines the opportunity to build vital research, public speaking and negotiation skills in our practice sessions and, of course, Model UN conferences across the UK and abroad. Alongside that, MUNSOC aims to hold talks by professionals in the field of global affairs and arrange visits to embassies and branches of international organisations for its members throughout the academic year. In our humble opinion, MUN is unparalleled in terms of obtaining unique (employable) experience, building a truly global network and making lifelong connections.
