About Us
Durham Trans Association exists to support and represent students who are trans, non-binary, and/or otherwise non-cisgender, as well as those questioning their gender identity. We run regular social events to foster connection within the trans community here in Durham - tailored to people's needs and feedback, with a broad range of activites on offer. Alongside this, we platform and champion trans voices by enabling trans students to effect change within our Students’ Union, Durham University, and nationally through NUS. We also hold elections for executive and non-executive officers annually, with unfilled positions also elected termly. - comply with the terms of this Constitution, the Student Group Agreement and all relevant Durham SU or Durham University regulations, rules and codes of practice which can be found on the Durham SU and Durham University websites, and
- act in the best interests of the Student Group and Durham SU and uphold the Student Group's Aims and the objects of Durham SU.
