About Us
The Durham University Folk Society exists to promote folk music and dance throughout the university. Our music sessions on Thursdays form the cornerstone of our society, but we also host special events throughout the year including gigs with local bands, subsidised trips to festivals and ceilidhs every term.
We welcome everyone to our society, regardless of musical ability or past experience. Our events and practices are open to anyone with enthusiasm!

By purchasing a membership to this group you agree to:
- comply with the terms of this Constitution, the Student Group Agreement and all relevant Durham SU or Durham University regulations, rules and codes of practice which can be found on the Durham SU and Durham University websites, and
- act in the best interests of the Student Group and Durham SU and uphold the Student Group's Aims and the objects of Durham SU.
