Home of Durham University's leading Wine & Cheese Society. Our focus is on enjoying wines, coming to our events regularly will mean that you pickup information and knowledge of wines as you go along. Our mission is to taste a wide range of excellent wines in a casual setting; we host 20-30 people at our fortnightly events where we will walk through five or six different wines occasionally joined by a selection of cheeses.

Helping you find wine you love, instead of wine you are told to enjoy. The best way to refine your tastes and preferences is through sampling a wide range of wines, our events are structured across the term to deliver wines from a broad range of regions and varieties. 

The society is all about getting a taste for the gapes and regions you enjoy, developing your preferences to pick a great bottle to bring for dinner, crack open with friends, or selecting from a wine list in a restaurant. Certainly not about the pretentious behaviour that afflicts the boorish breed of 'wine snobs'.
