Fides et Veritas is Durham University’s student publication for faith and theology. It brings together weekly devotionals, Christian news, features and testimony, and columns on theology and the philosophy of religion, all written by students across the University’s colleges.


The name comes from the Great Commission: the call to go out, share, and teach. That’s really the heart of the paper. It’s a space for Durham’s Christian community to think seriously, write well, and share what they believe .

By purchasing a membership to this group you agree to:

  • comply with the terms of this Constitution, the Student Group Agreement and all relevant Durham SU or Durham University regulations, rules and codes of practice which can be found on the Durham SU and Durham University websites, and
  • act in the best interests of the Student Group and Durham SU and uphold the Student Group's Aims and the objects of Durham SU.
