About Us

The group aims to examine how legal frameworks shape fashion, including areas such as intellectual property, branding and trademarks, contracts, sustainability regulation, and labour rights within supply chains.

Through speaker events, panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities, the society connects students with professionals working in both law and fashion-related industries. It is open to students from all disciplines who are interested in the commercial, legal, and ethical issues shaping the fashion world today.

  • comply with the terms of this Constitution, the Student Group Agreement and all relevant Durham SU or Durham University regulations, rules and codes of practice which can be found on the Durham SU and Durham University websites, and
  • act in the best interests of the Student Group and Durham SU and uphold the Student Group's Aims and the objects of Durham SU.
