About Us

JOIN DURHAM INDIE SOCIETY

We welcome people who love indie music, either by playing an instrument or just listening. Everyone is welcome, so don't feel any pressure to be !! (Half of our exec don't have a musical bone in their body, just a weird love for Oasis).

We will host...

  • Bar Crawls (ending at Loft Indie Night!!)
  • Music Pub Quizzes
  • Trips to local concerts for tributes and local indie artists
  • Battle of the Bands (open to players and spectators)
  • A forum to help musicians meet and form bands at Durham
  • Opportunities for these bands to play to an audience of our listening members

For those who do play and are looking for an opportunity to join a band or find that missing member for your already formed band we have a Whatsapp avalible for members to join in order to help band growth !!
