Candidate training will take place from 30 January to 5 February. More details will be added closer to the time.

1 Feb

Short manifesto due (50 words maximum). This is your chance to get people to vote for you so make sure you choose those words carefully! This profile will be shared on social media, be visible in the voting system and added to the candidate booklet and posters.

7 Feb

Full manifesto due (300 words maximum). This is your space to expand on why you want to be an Officer of Trustee, what issues you want to address and how you will bring about change to Durham. The profile will be available for students to read on the Durham SU website.

Candidate publicity days : 12:00-17:00 Thursday 7th February and Friday 8th February 9:00-17:00 (assigned slot includes candidate photo, video and Palatinate interviews)

14th Feb

Campaiging starts at 9:00, followed by Hustings. Start time: 18:00, PCL048 (Hogan Lovells lecture theatre)

All candidates standing in cross-campus elections shall be required to attend the Q&A session. If you can't attend, but still want to run, please email: charlotte.lawson@durham.ac.uk. The Q&A session is primarily focused around questions. You will have a chance to introduce yourself and your key manifesto points, but this will be short.

17 Feb

Voting opens at 8:00 for Officer and Trustee elections and our Referendum.

20 Feb

Voting closes 17:00.

21 Feb

Results evening. Invitations will be sent out nearer the time.
