Candidate training will also take place. More details will be added closer to the time.

7th Feb

Short manifesto due (50 words maximum). This is your chance to get people to vote for you so make sure you choose those words carefully! This profile will be shared on social media, be visible in the voting system and added to the candidate booklet and posters.

11th Feb

Candidate training: Come along and find out how to run an election campaign as well as handy hints and tips you can use to make campaigning as stress free as possible!

12th Feb

13 Feb

Full manifesto due (300 words maximum). This is your space to expand on why you want to be an Officer of Trustee, what issues you want to address and how you will bring about change to Durham. The profile will be available for students to read on the Durham SU website.

18 Feb

Candidates have a marketing meeting with the marketing team.

20th Feb

Campaiging starts at 9:00, followed by candidate question time. Start time: 18:30.

All candidates standing in cross-campus elections shall be required to attend question time. If you can't attend, but still want to run, please email: charlotte.lawson@durham.ac.uk. Question time is primarily focused around questions. You will have a chance to introduce yourself and your key manifesto points, but this will be short.

23 Feb

Voting opens at 8:00.

26 Feb

Voting closes 17:00.

27 Feb

Results evening. Invitations will be sent out nearer the time.
