Grey College is one of Durham’s newer colleges, founded in 1959. The College is named after Charles Grey, 2nd Earl Grey. He was the prime minister at the time of the university’s foundation, and unfortunately has nothing to do with tea.

We spoke to Grey’s Senior Freshers’ Rep, Nathan Gavin, to find out a little more about the college.

Fun fact about your college?

What advice would you give freshers coming to Grey?

What’s your college mascot and why?

Any cool college alumni?
