Durham University Yoga and Pilates Society runs several Yoga and Pilates classes each week that are open to everyone, and a great chance for beginners to try. Although classes vary in intensity. Yoga and Pilates are fantastic for improving flexibility, fitness and strength, in a calming environment that can help relieve stress. Members receive a discounted rate for all the classes. As well as offering classes, we run special events such as Yoga Days at the end of term, and socials throughout the year. Our classes run on a weekly basis, throughout the academic year.

The aims of the society shall be as follows:
•    Provide a variety of yoga and pilates classes during term time
•    Ensure that class prices are as low as possible with a discounted price for members of the society
•    Make all classes accessible to every student
