Candidates

The votes for the NUS Women’s Conference delegates have been counted and the candidates who have been successfully elected to the two open places are:

  • Laura Tidd
  • Fola Kazeem

There were also two reserved places for somebody who defines as a black woman and for a woman who defines into another liberation group (LGBT+ or disabled) or has caring responsibilities.
These places did not need to be elected so the names of those interested were drawn out of a hat. The two reserved place delegates are:

  • Sophie Nicola O’Connor
  • Martha Muir

Congratulations to the successful delegates! Thank you to everybody who ran as a candidate in these elections.
